The way you model relationships will have more impact on your children than anything else you do. Your relationship with him is one of the most amazing, powerful layers of protection your child has against destructive, unhealthy relationships. Help them to vision-cast about the relationships they desire with a future spouse. Pack your relationships full of such humor, honesty, and grace that a relationship that is anything less will hold no appeal!
When I ask what they are looking for in a relationship, though, sex is rarely on the list. They are looking for companionship, someone who likes them, someone who listens, trust, someone to do things with.

What if she does get pregnant? That will be hard, but it doesn’t need to be a catastrophic event for your family. While life will be different than what it may have been otherwise, carrying to term is not the end of the world. What can you do?
Few thoughts strike more terror into the hearts of parents everywhere than “The Talk,” especially since most parents have awkward memories of their own parents bumbling through a vague, uncomfortable “talk” that usually created more questions than it answered.
