What To Do When Your Kids Stop Talking!!?!

I was an awesome teenager! I mean, I had a ton of fun, great friends, made some mistakes and had a lot of victories. I was the friend that everyone turned to and I could make you laugh if you were down. I rocked at that. So surely, my daughters will still want to hang out with me when they hit their teenaged years because, let’s be honest, I’m still cool!  (more…)

60% Of Kids Walk Away From Their Faith After High School

Toni leads the Kids Ministry at the OKC Campus of LifeChurch.tv.  Toni is a great leader, wife, mom and friend.  She has been in ministry for many years and is what I would consider an expert when it comes to Kids Ministry and parenting.  As I read Toni’s post this week, I walked away personally challenged.

I have much work to do when it comes to discovering my kids gifts and helping them employ them for the Kingdom!

This guy has been such a good friend, in the worst and the best of times.  We met and worked together at LifeChurch.tv and have been great friends ever since.

I Want To Leave A Legacy!!

Where Is Your Starting Point?

Today’s guest post is written by my good friend Joe Gumm.  Joe and I go way back in the day and have been friends since we were 5 years old!

Joe has done many remarkable things in his life…

Worked as Fox Sports SouthWest, authored 3 books, he has won an Emmy for his television show “Traveling With The Tribe” and Joe is now the Oklahoma City Fox 25 morning anchor.

Joe is also an ordained minister and was a kids pastor for several years!

But as grandiose as his professional career, Joe’s most notable achievement to date is his relationship with Jesus, being a husband and a father.

Joe truly is the real deal!
