Selena Gomez, Victoria Secret & Parenting!!
Can I just rant for a second!!!
I am disgusted by the latest issue of Cosmo showing off Selena Gomez’s boobs in a push up bra!!
I hate that Nikki Minaj dances around half naked on prime time television’s music award shows!
I can’t stand the fact that kids ages 12 t0 17 years of age consume more porn than any other demographic!!
I get sick to my stomach when I see mom’s flaunting T & A at the local pool!
It saddens me that dad’s preach “NO” porn to their kids as they struggle with the addiction!
It makes me sad that Miley Cyrus… (I’m not even going there)!
It disgusts me that not only do parents allow, but they encourage their kids to date at a young age!
I can’t believe how many parents let their kids watch questionable garbage on TV!!
I am blown away that parent’s themselves watch garbage and justify it because they are the parent!
It’s sickening that parent’s allow their kids to watch Jersey Shore! Really!! Have you seen what your allowing your kids to watch!!?!
I can’t believe how many parents don’t take the time to put internet filters on their computers or kids’ phones!
I get sick when mom’s continue to get the Victoria’s Secret catalog shipped to their home. Soft porn for the whole family to enjoy!
Shall I go on….
As you can tell, I am a little hot about this topic today.
Parents, there is an enemy that is seeking to kill, steal and destroy your kids.
It is our job to fight for their heart, purity, virginity, innocence and future!
Here are a few tips parents should listen to…or pay the price later…
- Cancel the Victoria Secret catalog
- Stop justifying the garbage YOU watch on TV
- Check your kids’ iphone history
- Get Safe Eyes on your computer today
- Say “NO” to unacceptable friends
- Set an example and dress modestly
- Stop letting your kids lay on the couch/under the covers with their boyfriend/girlfriend (you know what boys are thinking)
- Talk to your kids about sex and masturbation…don’t let them figure it out on their own
So what’s driving my vomit session? I am just sick and tired of seeing kids fall into lust, addiction, sexuality and sin! And I am sick of seeing parent’s sit on the sidelines as their kids are swallowed by the monster of darkness!
What 1 action step do you need to take to protect your kids heart?

Question I’d like your thoughts on:
Do you think it’s wrong for my wife and I to restrict which songs our kids (ages 10 and under) can play on Just Dance 3, but that we play them when the kids are in bed?
I tweeted something about us doing this last week, and got some really great reactions.
Personally, I think it depends on how you feel about it. If you feel convicted for listening to what you won’t allow your kids to listen to then you shouldn’t listen to it.
My family chooses to only listen to Christian radio and artists. We didn’t make that a rule for our children. If they hear something they want to download then we listen to it with them and also look up the lyrics and make a decision of yes or no to allow, and discuss our decision with our children. We do the same thing with TV shows and movies.
Great post Chris! Keep them coming!
I always unsubscribe from the SI Swimsuit issue this time of year. It’s my small act of service to my boys and my wife!
I find it strange, that you would be sickened by a magazine cover, yet still use it as your cover picture?
I believe we stand to gain more by instilling in our children the proper modesty and values, as apposed to policing their every move. I have two daughters, 5+7, so most of what you are speaking of I have yet to experience. I do hope that the way they are being raised allows these things not to be an issue. I wholly agree that today’s youth are being sexually molded at way to young of an age, and we as parents are responsible. I have friends who have taken their 6yr old girls to Bieber concerts and allow them to wear inappropriate clothing, all in the name of Mother-Daughter bonding. THAT sickens me.
I’d like a clarification on your idea of ‘garbage’ watched. I have heard it argued that, if I’m not letting my kids watch it, then neither should I. I’m not sure if that’s the same statement you’re making here.
My daughter is finally getting to the age of having more opportunities to be on the computer unsupervised. It’s time we got a filter!!
It makes me mad that my daughter’s school is encouraging relationships in middle school, my daughter is in 6th grade, by having them buy Crush pop for their “crush.” Thankfully my daughter didn’t. I hate that they have dances for 6th graders too. My daughter doesn’t go but it’s hard on her when everyone else can and she’s left out. I wish the adults just didn’t let them have dances. It’s crazy.
